The SKI Stem Cell Research Facility is a part of the Starr Foundation-funded Tri-Institutional Stem Cell Initiative that provides shared stem cell expertise and resources among Memorial Sloan Kettering, Weill-Cornell, and Rockefeller University. We stock, characterize, and distribute human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) lines as well as perform a variety of hPSC-related applications. We continually refine and adapt the newest technologies relevant to hPSC research including genetic manipulation, directed differentiation and reprogramming to offer state-of-the-art services to the Tri-Institutional community as well as outside research communities.
General practices provided by the Stem Cell Research Facility:
  • We provide shared stem cell expertise, resources and services.
  • We adapt and optimize the latest technologies relevant to hPSC research.
  • Promote applications of hPSCs as a tool/cell model for various studies.
